Taking the next step along its strategic path of continuing expansion, the US-headquartered international supplier of computer-aided-manufacturing (CAM) software DP Technology, whose flagship product is the well-known Esprit®, has opened a new office in Bamberg, Germany an industrial region along the Rhine River.
“Our business grows as we enhance our reseller and machine tool partner network,” says Udo Ehnes, the European technical manager for DP Technology. Ehnes, who managed DP’s premier German office for 12 years, is now overseeing its new and improved successor, DP Technology Germany GmbH.
DP’s new German headquarters, situated in a spacious modern office building, boasts triple the space afforded by its predecessor. The facility includes a reception area, new meeting room, and plenty of space for an eight-member staff, four of them people newly hired to support the expanding needs of DP and its clientele. Besides offering sales and support services, that staff can also provide customers, resellers and machine tool business partners with customized training in an on-site training room.
“We are growing as a reflection of the growth of business in Europe, and especially in Germany,” Ehnes explains.
